This compact digital egg scale has a maximum range of 500 g. It is very accurate and has has a weight indication per 1/100 g. The power is provided by the 2 included AAA-batteries. The display consists of an LCD screen with blue lighting.
To get a good idea of waht the weight loss of the eggs is during incubation, it recommendable to weigh more than only one egg each check, as the difference in weight loss depends on the structure of the egg shell.
It is therefore very important, in order to get the right picture, to calculate an average weigh loss, based on the different weighings. The scale comes off works displaying weights in grams, but can also be set to visualisation in oz. or lbs.
The tare switch resets the scale (0 display).
