Heating spiral 100W / 230V

Heating coils (spirals) are ideal as heating in incubators. The reason herefore is that coils cool down faster than standard heating elements. It often happens that a after glowing heating element is the cause of an  instable temperaturelevel in the incubator. A coil directly cools down as the thermostat switches offf the power supply of the heating.  We attend you that heating coils are ONLY suitable for ventilated incubator and NOT for still air incubators!

Heating coils are available in the version of 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 Watt (220-240Volt).

When you recieve a heating coil, the turns will all lie one against the other (see lower photo). When you install the heating coil, you will have to pull the turns into the right length (see upper photo). You may stretch the coil up to minimal 40cm and up to maximal aproximately 100-125 cm.
To connect the heating coil it is advisable to use porcelain connectors. You need at least 4 of them per coil. From 3 connectors you have to pull out the copper inside and srew them onto an underground.  Then push the coil through the opening of these connectors. The ends of the heating coil have to be connected to the 4th connector and on this last its other side the power supply (220-240 Volt) of the thermostat.
