You are undoubtedly aware of the fact that transport and raw material prices have risen extremely worldwide. This applies to both metal and plastics, materials that we at Olba need to make our high-quality products. Metal costs on average 150% more than a year ago. The prices of plastics have more than doubled. On top of that, the price of international container shipping has increased by the factor of 4-5.
Olba has adjusted sales prices since January 1st for only a few products. Further price increases have been postponed in the hope that the market would recover in the short term. Unfortunately, this isn't the case...
Therefore, we are forced to increase the sales prices of our products by 5% with immediate effect. This percentage is not cost-effective for us and we have deliberately chosen a middle course. This means that additional price adjustments in the future cannot be ruled out. We will do everything we can to prevent this.
